Goodsnet Holdings Ltd

At Goodsnet, ingredient integrity is central to how we evaluate, import, and represent products in the New Zealand and Australian markets. Our Ingredient Standards exist to ensure transparency, regulatory alignment, and consumer trust across all categories we distribute.

Our Approach

We work with international manufacturers and brand partners to ensure formulations are:

  • Compliant with FSANZ and local market requirements
  • Clearly and accurately declared
  • Aligned with consumer expectations around transparency and functionality

We do not position ourselves as a formulation authority, but we apply a consistent, evidence-based screening process before products enter market.

Sweeteners & Sugar Alternatives

Goodsnet recognises that sweeteners, including polyols and non-nutritive sweeteners, are widely used in modern food and beverage products. Where used:

  • Ingredients must be clearly declared on pack
  • Nutrition Information Panels must accurately reflect carbohydrate and sugar content
  • Marketing claims must not misrepresent physiological impact

We discourage ambiguous “low sugar” or “low carb” positioning where formulation complexity could reasonably mislead consumers.

Additives & Processing Aids

We assess additives based on:

  • Regulatory approval status
  • Functional necessity
  • Clarity of declaration

We avoid unnecessary complexity and discourage the use of ingredients that add no functional or consumer benefit.

Claims Discipline

Goodsnet applies a conservative approach to claims. All on-pack and marketing claims must:

  • Be substantiated
  • Align with FSANZ standards
  • Be appropriate for the New Zealand market, which is generally more conservative than some offshore markets

Transparency

Consumers deserve to understand what they are purchasing. Goodsnet supports:

  • Plain-language ingredient lists
  • Accurate allergen declarations
  • Clear nutritional disclosure
