To support this commitment, Goodsnet operates a comprehensive Food Safety & Quality Management System (FSQMS) covering supplier approval, product approval, regulatory compliance, traceability, product release, recall readiness and continual improvement.
Our Food Safety & Quality Management System is registered with the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) and is subject to regular MPI verification. Goodsnet also maintains Foodstuffs Approved Supplier certification through independent assessments conducted by Assured Food Safety Ltd, demonstrating compliance with the technical, food safety and quality standards expected by New Zealand's leading retailers.

Product Approval Requirements
Every product supplied through Goodsnet undergoes a comprehensive technical review before approval.
Depending on the product category, suppliers may be required to provide:

Commercial Engagement
Goodsnet invests significant professional expertise, time and financial resources into product assessments, regulatory compliance, retailer onboarding, technical documentation, supply chain development and market entry activities on behalf of its suppliers and brand partners.
Where Goodsnet undertakes work at the request of a supplier, manufacturer, brand owner, authorised representative, consultant, agent or any third party acting on behalf of a supplier or brand owner, that work is undertaken on the understanding that the requesting party has the authority to engage Goodsnet and that agreed commercial terms will be honoured.
The appointment or involvement of an intermediary, consultant, representative or other third party does not, of itself, transfer or remove responsibility for authorised work undertaken for the benefit of a supplier, manufacturer or brand owner unless otherwise agreed in writing by Goodsnet.
Suppliers are expected to:
- Honour all agreed commercial and contractual commitments.
- Respect the value of professional services and technical expertise.
- Provide complete, accurate and timely technical documentation.
- Notify Goodsnet of any changes to products, formulations, manufacturing processes, manufacturing sites, packaging or labelling before implementation.
- Cooperate fully with product approvals, regulatory requirements, audits and retailer onboarding programmes.
- Conduct business ethically, professionally and in good faith.
Failure to meet contractual obligations, regulatory requirements or Goodsnet's Supplier Standards may result in:
- Suspension of projects.
- Suspension of product approvals.
- Removal from the Goodsnet Approved Supplier Register.
- Suspension or termination of commercial relationships.
- Recovery of costs incurred for authorised work performed.
- The pursuit of available contractual and legal remedies where appropriate.
